Description - GMA402 TIGER UHT German version of the Eurocopter 665 first flew in 1995. Initial deliveries due in 2002, and 80 have been ordered, but original plan for over 200 aircraft is likely to be reduced. Germany originally planned two versions of the Tiger – UHU for close support, and PAH-2 for anti-tank use. The UHT combines both of these functions. Armament – Four pylons on stub wing can carry up to 8 Trigat and 4 Stinger or Mistral, or variations of podded gun, 22 rockets, Stinger, Mistral, HOT3 and Ferry Tank. Max speed 145 knots at sea level. Max Range 800 km on internal tanks.
