Description - DOUGLAS DAUNTLESS x 15 3MA13 American 2 seat carrier based Dive-bomber and scout and entered service in 1940. Over 2,500 were built, and seved with the USN, USMC and USAAF. While an outstanding carrier aircraft, its operations with the Army were less successful. Front line operations ended in late 1944, but many still served some years after the war.
