Description - IMPÉRATRICE ÉUGENIE NL182 Paddle wheel liner, completed 1865 for Compagnie Général Transatlantique and renamed Atlantique in 1870. Sisters France, Nouveau Monde & Panama. A fifth sister, Saint Laurent was converted while building to a screw driven ship. All served in the North Atlantic. Gross Tonnage 3,400 tons Dimensions 364’ x 4’ x 29’ Speed 11 knots Passengers 215 All were converted to screw power in c1875 and all but Panama were lengthened at that time.
