Description - SBC149 TRIUMPH Built in 1561, she was one of the last “high-sided” English warships, and this with the large number of sails would have made her look old fashioned by the time of the Armada campaign where she was the flagship of Sir Martin Frobisher. She was finally rebuilt in 1596 and sold in 1618. Tonnage 1,100 tons Dimensions 165’ x 40’ Armament 4 Cannon, 3 Demi-cannon, 17 Culverins, 8 Demi-culverins, 6 Sakers and 4 smaller pieces. Crew 300 sailors, 40 gunners and 160 soldiers.
