Description - RAINBOW SBD351 A race built English galleon, built in 1586.at Deptford. She served in the Armada campaign in 1588 when she was commanded by Sir Henry Seymour. Rebuilt in 1617, she was finally sunk at Sheerness in 1680. The Vanguard was very similar. Tonnage 500 tons Dimensions 140’ x 35’ Armament 8 Demi-cannon, 10 Culverins, 14 Demi-culverins, 2 Sakers and 20 smaller pieces. Crew 150 sailors, 24 gunners and 76 soldiers.
