One of the smaller shallow draught warships included in the squadron of the Dutch Republic under Justin of Nassau. The squadron of 30 cromsters, both large and small, controlled the seaward defences of the Republic, but also ensured that the invasion force of the Duke of Palma could not sail to England, before the arrival of the Armada.
